Congratulations to the Avalon Training & Consultancy team for being the first Malaysian Training Provider to be awarded the illustrious National Examination Board in Occupational Safety & Health (NEBOSH), United Kingdom “Gold standard” status. This is the highest standard awarded by NEBOSH for their top-tier Learning Partners.
NEBOSH has launched the NEBOSH Learning Partner Programme in year 2019. It recognises Learning Partners that provide learners with the best possible learning experience. NEBOSH Learning Partners are classified based on their performance against the programme’s principles which are:
- Ensure all learners understand what is expected of them and what they can expect from their Learning Provider.
- Create a learning environment that is engaging and encourages interaction that is appropriate for the course and type of delivery.
- Provide accurate course materials and continually update and improve them.
- Ensure tutors are qualified, knowledgeable, competent and engaging.
- Give learners feedback on their progress and provide appropriate support.
- Review course delivery and learner feedback and action as necessary.
These principles are chosen because they represent global best practice in the provision of course tuition and support.
Learning Partners status can be identified as follows:
- Gold – greatly exceeds the principles
- Silver – exceeds the principles
- Bronze – meets the principles
Learning Partners are classified by their status on the ‘where to study’ section of the NEBOSH website (www.nebosh.org.uk) to allow learners to easily identify the most suitable Learning Partner for learners needs. Learning Partners can also be searched for based on their mode of study and location.
